Dean of Students
Senior Course Leader
Beth Ann Suggs, PCC, is an expert at building relationships with people. As Dean of Students, Mentor Coach, and Course Leader for the Academy for Coaching Excellence, an International Coach Federation certified school, she brings compassion, clarity, vision and universal values to all aspects of her work.
For more than 30 years she has been making significant contributions and empowering the lives of hundreds of people who have benefited from her dynamic leadership and guidance. Recently, her presentations on behalf of the Academy have included being the Key Note Speaker at a national conference and providing staff training in a major corporation and various organizations throughout the United States.
Prior to her work with the Academy, Beth Ann Suggs was ordained as a Unity Minister in 1984 and served the Unity Church in Ventura, California for 19 years. Since 1993, she has provided consulting and leadership training for New Thought Churches nationwide.
Her extensive background and early career includes being a recreational therapist and athletic coach with psychiatric patients at a New York hospital. She also successfully worked with neglected and abused adolescents as an occupational therapist. She supported patients in being courageous, focused, and playing their best life game. These experiences gave her increased capacity and created the foundation for the depth of teaching, coaching, and compassion she offers people today.
She is currently serving as a Board Member of ACTO, the Association of Coach Training Organizations, comprised of all the accredited coaching programs around the world.
Beth Ann Suggs also has a private business, New Concept Coaching. In her presence, people see who they are authentically and achieve the goals they really want in their lives with clarity, focus, ease, and grace.

Director of Academic Development
Senior Course Leader
Wayne Manning conducts a private practice, Manning Consulting, in Auburn, and is a course leader for the Academy. He was ordained as a Unity minister and graduated from Unity's School for Ministerial and Religious Studies in 1978. He remained at Unity headquarters for the next twelve years, serving as Dean of Biblical Studies, Dean of Administration, and eventually Vice-President for Education on the board of trustees for Unity School. In 1985 Wayne became Vice-President of Facilities for Unity School, overseeing the maintenance and physical operation of the 1600-acre complex and incorporated village. He was mayor of Unity Village from 1987 through 1990. Wayne was also awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award in Broadcasting" at the 2001 annual Association of Unity Churches conference in Kansas City in 2001.

Course Leader
Carolyn Ingram, Ed.D., is a graduate of the Academy for Coaching Excellence, and has been certified as an Academy Coach. She has a private coaching practice that includes people committed to their own personal growth and success, including writers, executives, artists, educators, and coaches among others. She is a licensed psychologist with over 25 year's experience. She is also an inspirational speaker and the co-author of three books.

Course Leader
Rita is the former Director of the Department of Social Services for the State of California a government agency with a $21 billion budget and 4,700 employees. Her expertise lies in executive and organizational development, based on her experience in business and the public sector. She has worked with corporations, small businesses, non-profits and faith-based organizations. Ms. Saenz has received statewide and national recognition for her work, including being named the by the Latin Journal as one of the "100 Most Influential Hispanics" in the country. She is on the Executive Board of the Plexus Institute which fosters the health of individuals, families, communities, and organizations as well as our natural environment, by helping people use concepts emerging from the new science of complexity.

Licensed Seminar Leader
Ann Marie Acacio is a certified individual and group coach, competently trained by the Academy for Coaching Excellence. She is also a licensed seminar leader and holds the accreditation of Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation.
Through her business, S.M.A.R.T. Steps Coaching in northeastern PA, Ann Marie supports individuals to see their previous stopping places in life. She also provides individuals with tools to more clearly and confidently take the authentic action to maximize their personal and professional potential.
Prior to her career as a certified coach and seminar leader, Ann Marie served as an ordained Unity minister, having pioneered the Unity ministry in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1979. Whether it's working with inmates at a local state prison, serving on the Interfaith Council, reading to young children as a member of Kiwanis International, leading coaching groups at local non-profit organizations, or serving as inter-denominational chaplain at a retirement facility, Ann Marie's passion for being a contributor to her community is enhanced by her coaching and ministerial skills.
Her mission statement is: "to empower individuals to create a thriving life -- one which supports a thriving world that works for all."

Susan Brownwood has 30 years of entrepreneurial, management, consulting, and coaching experience in a variety of industries including enterprise software, high tech, pharmaceutical, and
medical devices. She excels in collaborating effectively with all levels and in all areas of an organization.
Susan's coaching and leadership expertise uniquely positions her to assist organizations in building highly effective teams, developing new and experienced leaders, and achieving higher levels of effectiveness and performance all while fostering an open, passionate, and empowering culture.
In addition to Susan's business experience, she has undergone extensive coach training at the Academy for Coaching Excellence, where she is a Licensed Seminar Leader.

Sophia Falke, owner of Embracing Greatness, is an Academy for Coaching Excellence Certified Coach and Licensed Seminar Leader. She offers workshops and seminars for companies, non-profit and service organizations, churches, and the general public, as well as individual and business coaching.
Sophia brings to her clients over 30 years combined experience in coaching, administration, marketing, human resources, training, quality management, public speaking, and ministry. She has worked in the nonprofit, private, and public sectors; has a Masters degree in Industrial and Labor Relations and Bachelor of Arts in English Education; and is a member of the International Coach Federation.
Based in the greater Las Vegas area, Sophia serves clients from coast to coast, either traveling to the client's site or via telephone.

Cynthia L. Farrell is a highly trained coach and seminar leader for The Academy for Coaching Excellence and has over 20 years operational and training management experience in the real estate mortgage industry.
Cynthia is the owner of a successful coaching business, Illumine Journey Coaching. She brings extensive experience in team building, training, skill development, effective use of resources, and sales. Cynthia had
many opportunities in her career to support teams and individuals achieve greater results. She supported organizations in expanding their operation and sales teams utilization of effective communication tools.
Cynthia is very dedicated and passionate about being a contribution to her family and community. She is very clear that the coaching tools she has to offer can allow for more productive relationships personally and professionally. Monica Griffith is a graduate of the Academy for Coaching Excellence, certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Licensed Seminar Leader. Through her business, Guiding Light Coaching, she offers one-on-one coaching and facilitates small group discussions, book-study workshops, and skill-building seminars.
Monica is a seasoned professional and brings over thirty years of corporate leadership experience to her clients. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, Sacramento. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, Co-chair of United Way's Women in Philanthropy, and an Orangevale, CA, Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.

Dennis started work as a design engineer and project manager in the construction industry and has since worked as a project management trainer and consultant in a variety of industries and organizations including construction, technology, telecommunications, and pharmaceuticals.
His specialty is developing and delivering customized courses for organizations, project teams and individuals. Courses integrate proven methodology with software tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera Systems, and Point, Click, Plan! by The One Page Business Plan Company.

Dennis is currently enrolled in the Track II, Organizational Coach Training Program at the Academy for Coaching Excellence and plans to develop new coaching courses as well as include coaching modules in some of his project management courses.
Dennis has a BS degree in General Engineering and Product Design from Stanford University, a curricula which combines the usefulness of engineering with the art of design.

As a high school senior, Colleen began her coaching career as one of ten specially selected Peer Advocates at Carlsbad High and received rigorous training in a multitude of teen programs. After having witnessed the personal transformation of several fellow students as a result, this early experience fueled her passion to pursue the social sciences with a vision to bring this work to youth on a larger scale. Graduating cum laude from CSU, Sacramento with a degree in psychology, Colleen spent the next eleven years as a special education assistant teacher, applied behavior analysis consultant, student advocate, mentor, and coach to countless students and educational teams.
She continues to innovate education in effort to catalyze and reveal the potential of students and educators alike, supporting their goals to fruition. Her extensive experience in multiple educational settings, from charter schools to public and non-public schools and in-home learning, lends versatility in her collaboration with educators to develop highly-personalized programs with outstanding success rates. Most recently, Colleen has traded in her private practice to coach educational institutions which utilize design thinking principles, namely at Met Sacramento High, a school of the Big Picture Organization.
Her vision is to provide a platform of coaching technology to serve students, parents, educators, non-profit organizations, and change makers in bringing about positive, sustainable change and a better way of life.
