Michele Vesely

Operations Facilitator & Public Relations

Michele serves the Academy as the operations facilitator and is the coordinator for local and national speaking engagements, workshops and special events. Michele is also a member of the Marketing Team and assists in the development and production of Academy course and special event collateral. Michele joined the Academy for Coaching Excellence in November of 2002 after years of working as a therapist and social worker for children and families because of the positive and empowering nature of coaching. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz and did her graduate work at University of San Francisco.

Nancy DeCandia

Coach Training Program Logistics and Student Coordinator

Nancy DeCandia is passionate about supporting people. She demonstrates this daily in her various roles with the Academy for Coaching Excellence as Assistant to the Dean of Students, Student Coordinator and Logistics Supervisor for the Sacramento Courses.

Nancy has a natural talent for assessing situations, seeing what needs to be done and doing it efficiently. She pays attention to detail while grasping the larger picture. Her focus is on providing behind the scenes support so that participants and students are more easily able to achieve their goals.

Prior to joining the Academy staff three years ago, Nancy was the administrator of the Ventura Unity Church for more than 12 years.
Her background also includes four successful years in corporate accounting and more than a million dollars in sales as a Licensed Realtor.

Nancy DeCandia consistently demonstrates an outstanding ability to listen to people with respect and kindness. She is committed to the success of the clients and students of the Academy and is willing to do whatever is necessary to guarantee that all resources are available to everyone.
